A simple surface mounting spring arm door closer. Adjustable tension, left or right hand fitting. Certified to all Fire Authority standards including BS, UL and Canadian National Standards. Suitable for use on doors up to 68kg (150lbs). This device is 'uncontrolled' in that it simply pushes the door closed with a simple 'slam' action. There is no soft latching action though the spring tension can be adjusted. If the door is fitted with a bevelled latchbolt we would advise the use of an 'Easy Keep' latch strike plate (see link below) which will ensure full closure each time.
