R2 PERKO Concealed Spring Chain Door Closer BRASS

The genuine and original Perko® quality spring chain door closer for concealed door jamb mounting. Suitable for most light and medium standard size internal domestic doors upto 50kg. Suitable for 1/2 and 1 hour fire check doors. Successfully included in tests to BS 476,Part 22:1987 and assessed to BS EN 1634-1:2000.This device is 'uncontrolled' in that it simply pulls the door closed with a simple 'slam' action. There is no soft latching action though the spring tension can be adjusted. If the door is fitted with a bevelled latchbolt we would advise the use of an 'Easy Keep' latch strike plate (see link below) which will ensure full closure each time. Forend plates in Polished Brass finish.
