The reason we make our stays totally in steel is that the monkey tail can be drawn down to a very fine point, giving it a quality not acheivable by casting and in addition the body and knuckle are much stronger. The Monkeytail stays can be matched up with the Monkeytail Fasteners to create a uniformed look.
